Man Group, the world’s largest listed hedge fund firm, has appointed Putri Pascualy as a Senior Managing Director, Client Portfolio Manager to lead the firm’s client engagement and strategic efforts on private credit and direct lending.
In her new role, Pascualy will focus on Man’s middle market direct lending strategy, building partnership with leading global investors across the institutional, wealth and insurance channels.
Pascualy joins from TPG Angelo Gordon, where she was a Senior Product Specialist leading the firm’s product and strategy effort for its credit multi-strategy and performing credit verticals.
Prior to TPG Angelo Gordon, Pascualy was a Partner and Portfolio Manager for the credit and co-investment portfolios at PAAMCO Prisma, part of KKR’s hedge fund solutions platform. She is also the author of “Investing in Credit Hedge Funds”, published by McGraw-Hill.
The appointment of Pascualy, who reports to Walter Owens, CEO of Man Direct Lending, and will be based in New York, follows Man Group’s acquisition last year of Varagon Capital Partners, in a move aimed at boosting the firm’s private credit presence in the US.
