London-based investment firm, Twenty20 Capital, has joined forces with MP Alpha Capital — making a cornerstone investment into the firm’s “post-Covid” hedge fund.

MP Alpha Capital was founded by John Phillips and Damien Miller with the objective of creating a hybrid and asymmetrical fund mixing digital assets and equities, for the post pandemic world.

The companies have successfully secured USD20 million during their first fundraising round, enabling the fund to go live in the AKJ Ecosystem — a fully digital hedge fund management service.

Twenty20 Capital is one of Europe’s largest specialist investment firms and has previously focused on the human capital services sector. With revenues under management of GBP1.5 billion, its portfolio includes Cordant Group, HCRG, HCL Workforce Solutions, Affinity Workforce Solutions, Allied Healthcare, Monarch Education, 360 Resourcing Solutions, Eurostaff, Staffgroup and Sugarman Group.

This strategic partnership will now enable Twenty20 Capital to diversify its portfolio further.
