Millennium Management has strengthened its investment team in Switzerland with the appointment of Pierre-Anthony Badet as Senior Portfolio Manager in its Zug office, continuing the firm’s expansion across the EMEA region.
Badet joins from LMR Partners, where he spent more than seven years as a portfolio manager. Prior to that, he held a range of senior trading roles at BNP Paribas, including Head of Quantitative Volatility Trading, following his start at the bank in 2002.
The hire is the latest in a series of senior appointments by the multi-manager platform as it continues to build its presence across Europe and the Middle East. Recent additions include former BlueCrest portfolio manager Edward Pisano in Dubai, ex-Eisler portfolio manager Massimiliano Pignatelli in Milan and former ExodusPoint partner Mirco Bulega in London.
