Reuters and CME have completed the formation of their previously announced 50/50 joint venture FXMarketSpace.
The launch of FXMarketSpace’s trading platform, expected in Q1 2007, will create the world’s first centrally-cleared, foreign exchange marketplace. Certain FXMarketSpace activities will be subject to regulatory approval by the UK Financial Services Authority, which is expected in early 2007.
