Millennium Management, the $60bn multi-strategy hedge fund major founded by Izzy Englander, has appointed Matthew Nguyen as the firm’s new Deputy Head of Commodities, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The report cites unnamed sources familiar with the matter as confirming that Nguyen was previously a Natural Gas Trader with JP Morgan before joining Millennium.
Nguyen is the latest addition to Millennium’s commodities division, which was split into a separate unit under the leadership of Anthony Sewell last year, following the recent hires of Katie Edin, Benoit Bosc and Jeffrey Sun.
