TT International (“TT”), an investment manager offering cross-asset long-only and long-short investment strategies has named the six team members that will lead the firm’s new Emerging Markets (EM) Debt offering, which it is launching to complement its existing global macro and EM strategies.
The team will be headed by Jean-Charles (JC) Sambor, formerly EM Debt Head and Lead Portfolio Manager of EM Debt strategies at BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM), who is joined by two additional Portfolio Managers, a Senior Analyst and a Senior Trader, all of whom have previously worked together at BNPP AM, as ell as an additional Senior Analyst specialising in EM high yield issuers and special situations.
They will work closely with TT’s 17 existing investment professionals located in London, Hong Kong, India, Brazil and Mexico, who already conduct macro research and company analysis across EM.
Sambor’s team comprises Alex Zunega, Stefan Roessler, Ronald Huang, Di Wang and Michael Lam, who will be running various strategies focusing on EM Debt across sovereign and corporate credit, FX, and rates. Sambor, Zunegar, Roesler and Lam will be based in London, while Huang and Wang will operate from the firm’s Hong Kong office.
