Marex has strengthened its global capital introduction team with the appointment of Leah Teo as then team’s first Singapore-based member, Teo will work closely with colleagues in Hong Kong to drive the firm’s APAC business, supporting banks, hedge funds, investment managers, and family offices.
The move comes amid rising demand for Marex’s capital introduction services, a core part of its prime services offering. Teo joins from Astignes Capital, where she spent four years in investor relations, managing institutional relationships and due diligence processes.
Marex’s capital introduction team spans the US, UK, Asia, and Middle East, connecting clients with institutional allocators across alternative strategies. Teo’s appointment follows recent hires including Chris Lloyd in London and Rebecca Kim in Singapore, highlighting the firm’s continued global expansion.
