Hedge fund Brevan Howard is set for a senior change as Duke Dayal, who joined as CFO in January 2024, prepares to leave the firm. His role will be assumed by Al McGroarty, the London-based global COO who joined from Maven Securities in July 2025, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
McGroarty will take on a combined COO and CFO role, bringing prior CFO experience from Tower Research and a career starting at Goldman Sachs.
Dayal, based in New York, is understood to be departing amicably and is expected to focus on non-executive roles in the US.
