Alma Capital has partnered with Hong Kong-based hedge fund firm Prudence Asset Management to launch a liquid, UCITS-compliant version of the firm’s flagship long-short Asia credit strategy on its Luxembourg platform.
With strong integration of ESG practices within the investment process, the fund complies with Article 8 of the SFDR regulation.
The Alma Platinum IV Prudence Asia Credit Fund seeks to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns from a liquid long-short portfolio of Asia credit. The fund invests across the liquid Asia credit market, including Asia dollar bonds and pan-Asian convertible bonds, and dynamically allocates capital to event driven, opportunistic long-short, and relative value sub-strategies.
Prudence, which was founded in 2008 and is led by CIO Chad Liu and Co-CIO Linlin Ma, manages one of the longest standing long-short Asia credit funds, which has returned 15% pa (net) since inception.
