Americas Trading Group (ATG) has announced a new alliance with sell-side equities trading platform provider Fidessa Group which provides Fidessa OMS users with access to ATG's algorithmic trading models in the Brazilian market.

ATG’s team of electronic trading specialists has developed tailored algorithms to meet the needs of specific investment strategies. The ATG Algo solution is designed to provide transaction cost reduction and higher-quality execution. Running inside ATG’s proximity-hosted structure ensures not only quality of execution, but low-latency as well.
Unlike traditional broker algos, users can select one or more local market participants to provide the necessary DMA sponsored access to the exchange. ATG currently has more than 25 local broker relationships in place ready to provide this service.
