Portfolio manager Mark Corigliano and his partners Dennis Greenway and Kevin Nicholson have formally launched Belltower Advisors.
Following a spin-off from Proxima Alfa Investments, Belltower Advisors has assumed management of the Belltower Fund (formerly the Anglian Equity Fund) from its new office in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Corigliano initiated the fund’s strategy in July 2005 within the Anglian Commodities Fund under VegaPlus Capital Partners using a long/short equity strategy across global natural resource sectors including energy, industrials and mining.
In May 2007 the Anglian Equity Fund launched as a standalone fund on the Proxima Alfa platform, and since its 2005 inception through June 2009 the fund’s strategy achieved an annualized net return of 16.9 per cent.
