Financial services provider Apex Group has appointed Renaud Oury as Group Chief Data Officer (CDO) and as a member of the Executive Committee.
The creation of this role strengthens Apex’s position as an industry leader and reflects its commitment to building a data driven organisation.
Oury’s, whose appointment is effective immediately, is based in Luxembourg, one of Apex’s largest service centres, and as CDO he will be responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive analytics strategy for the Group. His priority will be to leverage data and information to improve efficiencies, enhance client service and support the Group’s future growth plans. With a 25-year long career in financial services and financial technology, Renaud has a holistic understanding of the market, working with both private and institutional clients.
Prior to joining Apex, Oury was a member of IQ-EQ’s Executive Committee where he was responsible for Sales and Marketing. Prior to that he was Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at KNEIP, an international services provider to the fund industry. A well-recognised figure in Luxembourg’s financial centre, Renaud is a member of the ESG Committee of the Luxembourg PE Association (LPEA).
