AQR Capital Management, led by billionaire investor Cliff Asness, has delivered double-digit returns across multiple strategies in the first half of 2025, according to a report by Reuters citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter.
The firm’s flagship Apex Strategy, a multi-strategy hedge fund, gained 0.9% in June, bringing its year-to-date return to 11.4%. Meanwhile, the Delphi Long-Short Equity Strategy is up 11.6% year-to-date, despite a 2.1% decline in June.
AQR’s Helix Strategy, which focuses on equity trend-following, posted a 0.4% return in June and is up 7.4% through mid-year.
