Another member of Blackstone’s hedge fund solutions group is leaving the firm in the wake of a change in leadership, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The latest MD to depart is Michael Pierog, head of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management’s hedge fund seeding business, whose joined the firm in 2013 from Barclays Plc after having previously worked at Davidson Kempner Capital Management.
Blackstone spokesperson Paula Chirhart confirmed in a statement that managing director Brian Snider will be promoted to succeed Pierog.
