BNP Paribas has appointed Peter Herrlin as Global Head of Hedge Fund Services, marking a key leadership move for the bank’s Securities Services business. Herrlin will be based in London and assumes responsibility for the Hedge Fund Services client line and delivery teams worldwide.
In his new role, Herrlin will oversee the go-to-market strategy for Hedge Fund Services, manage its risk profile, and shape the business’s operating and client experience models. He reports to Patrick Hayes, Global Head of Alternatives Investors, Securities Services, and locally to Julien Kasparian, Regional Head for the UK and Middle East.
Herrlin brings more than 25 years of experience from leading European investment banks. Before joining BNP Paribas, he served as EMEA Head of Client Solutions, Banking and Markets at Northern Trust, where he built and led the Capital Markets Client Solutions team. He has also held senior roles supporting hedge fund teams at Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) and Danske Bank.
