Dublin-based independent asset management consultancy, Carne Global Financial Services, helped Aspect Capital launch the UCITS version of its flagship Aspect Diversified Program, as recently reported in Hedgeweek. The Aspect Diversified Trends newcits uses a quant-based managed futures strategy, and Carne played an important role helping to structure Aspect’s related index to emulate the offshore vehicle’s performance. In addition it advised Aspect to seek regulatory approval for the index from the Central Bank of Ireland, and is also currently in the process of providing two independent directors for the fund. Carne’s CEO, John Donohoe (pictured) said that the firm was “very pleased” to be able to work with Aspect on the launch and that they look forward “to continuing to support the fund”.
