Chepstow Lane Capital, the hedge fund founded by former Soros Fund Management portfolio manager Agata Dornan, recorded double-digit gains in 2025, extending its strong performance track record, according to a report by Financial News London.
The fund generated returns of 10.4% for the year, boosted by a 1% gain in December, according to people familiar with the results. January was the strongest month, with gains of 2.5%, followed by May, when the fund rose 2.1%.
Founded in 2022, Chepstow Lane Capital has now posted three consecutive years of double-digit performance. The fund returned 13.2% in 2024 and 13.1% in 2023, bringing cumulative gains since inception to 43%, the sources said.
Dornan spent more than eight years as a portfolio manager at Soros Fund Management before launching Chepstow Lane. In 2025, she was named among Financial News’s 100 Most Influential Women in European Finance, recognising her impact in the investment management industry.
