CMC Markets Institutional – a provider of liquidity and white label trading solutions – has launched a new Prime Derivatives trading platform providing professional individual and institutional clients with access to trade global single stock CFDs.
Accessing Prime Brokerage services across all asset classes has become harder in recent years as changes to regulation and approaches to risk management have evolved. Many counterparties including smaller brokers, asset managers and hedge funds have therefore found it increasingly difficult to obtain efficient routes to market access, and this now serves as a catalyst for innovation across the industry.
CMC Markets Prime Derivatives trading platform provides access to trade global single stock CFDs. The platform has advanced order management tools, with trades being directed via smart order routers to a wide range of venues including both displayed (lit) and non-displayed liquidity (dark), primary exchanges and MTFs among other execution venues. The company’s Prime Derivatives platform allows clients access to trade in open/closing auctions, the US pre and post market and is supported by a wide range of order types as well as access to algorithmic execution. The platform includes advanced charting, as well as streaming news services whilst our Next Generation platform provides a comprehensive suite of back office reporting tools.
Richard Elston (pictured), Head of Institutional at CMC Markets, says: “Prime Brokers increasingly want to focus their attention on their very largest customers, meaning market access has become more challenging in recent years for many smaller participants. Prime Derivatives leverages our capital, technological expertise and market standing to better connect many of those who have found themselves facing less favourable commercial terms and market access as a result of recent change.”
CMC Prime Derivatives complements the existing Prime FX product suite, delivering a comprehensive, multi-asset solution from a single counterparty to a wider range of participants. Counterparties can trade CFDs either directly through CMC Markets existing platform, or via FIX API.
