Hedge fund founder and former Simpson Thacher & Bartlett attorney, Daniel Kamensky, has had a six-month retroactively applied law license suspension confirmed by a New York appellate court, according to a report by Reuters.
The suspension for the founder of the now defunct Marble Ridge Capital hedge fund comes after he pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud last year and was sentenced to a six-month jail term, six months of home confinement as well as a $55,000 fine.
