Deutsche Bank and Lynx launch UCITS fund

Deutsche Bank and Lynx Asset Management have launched a UCITS III compliant version of the Lynx fund. The DB Platinum IV Lynx Index. which was launched on Deutsche Bank‟s DB Platinum IV platform in February 2011, is managed by Lynx, part of Brummer & Partners group in Stockholm, in accordance with the systematic strategy applied by the Lynx programme and offers daily liquidity.

The Lynx UCITS III fund is managed by Jonas Bengtsson, Svante Bergström and Martin Sandquist. As of February 2011, the programme assets of Lynx were USD3.3bn.

Deutsche Bank’s global head of the dbSelect platform, Hans Jacob Feder, says: “We are very excited about this launch. It is our goal to provide our clients with best-in-class product offerings across the investment spectrum. This fund is an important addition to our range of UCITS products as it leverages the strengths of the dbSelect platform and allows investors to capture the performance of FX and CTA/Macro Managers in a cost efficient and transparent manner.”
