Ex-Goldman Sach trader Chris Clarke and Hans Summers, ex-Tudor Capital analyst and programmer, have joined forces with KTH Fund Management to launch the Westferry Global Markets Fund.

The offshore fund started trading in April 2006, and after 5 months of trading with only partners’ capital, the fund will open to third party investors in September 2006. The Fund is a systematic futures trading fund that aims to capture long term trends across a large portfolio of liquid and uncorrelated markets.

When asked about the advantages of Westferry Global Markets Fund, CEO and Senior Partner Chris Clarke said:  ‘We will offer an extremely competitive fee structure with fund remuneration being based almost solely on performance, plus the quality, experience and track record of the partners speaks for itself’.

Clarke noted: ‘I have traded my own money for 5 years and hope not to be assesed as yet another x-bank trader setting up a hedge fund. I believe in what we do and have traded the system for 19 months with my own money. I remain invested in Westferry Global Markets Fund with significant amount of my personal assets and all partners have all their liquid assets in the fund’.

Westferry Capital Partners was founded by Christopher Clarke who has spent 11 years in the investment banking industry as a senior trader at Goldman Sachs, Natwest Markets, Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank. Other senior partners within Westferry are Hans Summers and Keith Clarke.

Hans has 12 years financial markets experience, 7 of which were spent at Tudor. Hans is a quantitative analyst and system programmer and also has a lot of experience in design, execution and management of trading systems. Keith Clarke is the COO of Westferry, bringing 30 years of senior management experience in production risk management in the Chemical Industry. Keith has worked alongside Chris in the development and research of trading systems and trend following for 6 years.

KTH Fund Management is a Partnership between The Kyte Group Ltd, Talisman Global Asset Management and Rami Habib. This partnership was formed to seed and support potential successful managers of the future and to give them a full back up on infra-structure, risk management, back office, IT support and administrative functions.
