Multi-strategy hedge fund ExodusPoint has added Vittorio Martino, a senior fixed income salesman at Deutsche Bank, to its team in London, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Martino is reportedly joining a ‘pod’ – ExodusPoint-speak for a team based around a portfolio manager running a particular
trading strategy – formed by Mirco Bulega. The former Credit Suisse economist joined ExodusPoint in July 2022 from Alphadyne Asset Management, a global macro and fixed income relative value fund founded by former JPMorgan Philippe Khuong-Huu and Bart Broadman. His ExodusPoint pod is focused on macro trading.
Martino, who is joining ExodusPoints as a senior strategist spent 13 years at Deutsche Bank, most recently in the Italian flow rates sales team. His appointment comes hot on the heels of that of Bin Zou, a former executive director of FX and Rates systematic trading strategies at Goldman Sachs who recently joined ExodusPoint as a macro quantitative researcher.
