ExodusPoint Capital Management, a $13 billion hedge fund with offices in London, Paris, Dubai and Singapore, has appointed Evangelos Makris as an analyst from JPMorgan, where he was a senior associate for three years, according to a report by Financial News.
Makris joined JP Morgan as an associate in 2019 before being promoted to senior associate in November 2021, having begun his career at Tokyo-headquartered Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group.
Makris’ appointment follows those of fellow analyst June Sun who joined ExodusPoint earlier this month from Bank of America (BofA) and former Citi rates trader Hao Qu, who joined the firm as a portfolio manager.
And the firm is still actively recruiting staff with a post on ExodusPoint’s LinkedIn page revealing that the company has an opening for an operations analyst in its London office.
