Fischer Francis Trees & Watts (FFTW), the global fixed income partner of BNP Paribas Investment Partners, has promoted Kenneth O’Donnell, CFA, to Head of Short Duration. He will be responsible for performance, growth and development of short duration strategies firm wide. FFTW’s short duration capabilities include global and US short duration, stable value and absolute return strategies.

He brings a wealth of experience building short duration track records, working with institutional clients and managing investment professionals. O’Donnell began his career at FFTW in June 2002 as a portfolio manager with direct responsibility for the short duration product range. His primary responsibilities included managing sector and interest rate exposures for a diversified group of client portfolios. Previously he worked in the Fixed Income Group at Standish Mellon Asset Management in Boston.
