Neil Weller, formerly of Citadel, has joined political risk consultancy Eurasia Group, taking on the role of director of fixed income strategy in the firm’s London office, according to a report by Financial News London.
Weller, a specialist in macro strategy and FX portfolio construction, spent close to a year at Citadel after joining the hedge fund in 2023. His appointment brings buy-side and bank-side experience to Eurasia Group’s growing research platform.
Before Citadel, Weller spent more than nine years at JPMorgan, where he was head of global FX strategy, following an earlier stint at BlackRock between 2002 and 2013.
