Fourier Asset Management LLP, a new London-based global credit long-short hedge fund firm, which employs a data-driven, quantitative trading strategy to focus on global relative value opportunities, has appointed Mark A Rieder as a Senior Advisor.
Rieder currently serves as Chief Investment Officer of global credit platform LaMar Assets, having previously spent a decade at GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, as Managing Director and Lead Portfolio Manager for Corporate Bonds in New York. Earlier in his career, he managed corporate credit portfolios at PartnerRe and worked as a high-yield bond research analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Orlando Gemes, Founder and Chief Investment Officer, said: “Mark’s expertise will be instrumental as we expand our systematic and credit-centric investment strategies aimed at delivering consistent returns with low drawdowns and volatility.”
