Frontier Capital Management, an investment management company that combines both traditional and alternative asset classes, has promoted Andrew Cracknell to head of intermediary business.
This includes IFA and discretionary wealth managers focused largely on the UK.
Cracknell joined Frontier Capital at the start of 2007, becoming partner in 2008.
Alex Gaitan has been appointed as portfolio manager of Frontier Capital’s hedge fund, Global Hedge. The fund is designed to provide investors with the returns of the global hedge fund industry, but with high levels of liquidity and low levels of risk to underlying managers. The fund manages investments of USD80m.
Gaitan previously worked as a senior fund of hedge funds analyst for Redi & Partners in London.
In addition, Nahed Ennasr has recently joined the company as a senior analyst within the investment team.
Prior to joining Frontier, Ennasr was pursuing a Master’s in Quantitative Finance from the Cass business School in London where she graduated with distinction. Previously, Ennasr worked for the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec, one of the largest institutional fund managers in Canada and North America, as an analyst covering index and quantitative management in the world markets division.
Colin Hodges, chief executive of Frontier Capital Management, says: “These changes highlight the importance we place on investment innovation and customer service. As our client base and funds under management continue to increase, we are pleased to be able to promote and appoint people with the skill and experience of Andrew, Alex and Nahed.”
