Gazprombank Asset Management has appointed Igor Kan to the position of vice-president and head of structured products portfolio management and trading.
Aylin Suntay, first vice-president of Gazprombank and CEO of Gazprombank Asset Management, says: “We are very glad to welcome Igor to our investment management team where we believe he will play a key role to further develop our product strategy and line-up. He will oversee our fast growing structured products asset management business for both corporate and institutional investors and HNW clients.”
Prior to joining Gazprombank Kan worked for Russian Regional Development Bank, a subsidiary of Rosneft, as an advisor to the president.
He started his career as a trader at ING Barings, Moscow and London in 1994. In 1996, he moved to Morgan Stanley, London where he was a managing director and then became the deputy chairman at Morgan Stanley Moscow Bank. In 2010, he moved to CitiGroup as a managing director and general director of Citigroup Global Markets.
