Shane Connor, the managing partner of Ohio-based hedge fund Huffman Prairie Holdings, is set to be named as a director of Park Aerospace at the company’s forthcoming annual shareholders meeting in July, according to a report by the Business Journal.
Huffman Prairie is already a “major shareholder” in Park, having first invested in the business, which develops and manufactures advanced composite materials used to produce primary and secondary structures for jet engines and other aircrafts, back in 2019.
As part of the agreement, Connor will be named to at least one of the board’s standing committees and is guaranteed to be nominated for election again in 2024.
