Hedge Funds Care, the alliance of hedge fund industry professionals committed to protecting children from abuse and neglect, has set the date for its London fundraising benefit gala.

The annual black tie event will take place at the Grange St. Paul’s Hotel, London on 2 December.

The fifth annual fundraising gala will include a live auction conducted by Lord Jeffrey Archer. Items on auction will include a signed Status Quo guitar, a luxury holiday in Barbados and a bespoke tailoring package. Also up for auction will be tickets and backstage passes to a concert by The Saturdays at London’s O2 Arena.

The evening will also feature our famous silent auction of 35 items including limited edition works of art by world famous artists, tennis tickets for Queens Club, a 20/20 game in the members area at Lords, and signed sports memorabilia from Rugby, Football, Motor Racing and Cricket.

Since it was established in 1998, the Hedge Funds Care has made grants of over USD24m. The UK charity has raised funds through its annual gala events and numerous summer and cultural events held over the last two years.

Robert Mirsky, chairman, Hedge Funds Care UK, says: “The charity continues to receive great support from hedge fund managers and service providers alike and our fundraising events represent a great opportunity for market participants to get together and raise significant sums of money that make a meaningful impact in the treatment and prevention of child abuse in the UK. We are very keen to broaden our reach and tickets are still available for the event, which promises to be our best ever.”
