Lombard Risk Management, a provider of software solutions for collateralised trading, liquidity analysis and regulatory compliance, has appointed Sherry Isenberg as managing director for the Americas.

Isenberg will be responsible for driving Lombard Risk’s strategy in the Americas and managing all operational aspects of the business including sales, marketing, operations, support and client relations.

"This is an exciting and fast-paced market to be a part of as the risk management arena continues to become more complex with new regulations and a greater industry emphasis on improving liquidity, collateral and risk management," says Isenberg. "I am pleased to join Lombard Risk, a company at the forefront of the industry, and I am keen to leverage my client-side perspective to build upon the company’s success and foster even stronger relationships with our clients so they can achieve greater business value from working with Lombard Risk.”

Isenberg has spent over 15 years in the financial services arena. Most recently Isenberg was the managing director of a provider of treasury, FX and cash management software. Prior to this, Isenberg was the vice president for North American sales and client relationship management with Fiserv and the head of the financial services vertical at Hyperion (acquired by Oracle in 2007).

John Wisbey, chief executive officer of Lombard Risk, says: “Sherry joins us with an excellent background, and we are confident that she will be instrumental in taking Lombard Risk to the next level in North America as we continue to build our global presence in EMEA, Asia, and the Americas. With our increasing success in liquidity management and ongoing leadership in collateral management innovation, this appointment underlines the importance of the North American market to our overall growth strategy and underscores our desire to build upon our existing client relationships.”
