Lord Davies joined the firm in August. He will be based in the UK and will work closely with the firm’s management team.

Chief executive Win J. Neuger says: “Lord Davies has considerable financial services experience and deep expertise in many of our core markets in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I am delighted that a business leader of such global prominence and stature has decided to join the firm as we take our next steps as a newly independent entity. He is a highly complementary addition to the PineBridge team, and we are confident that his appointment will greatly benefit our business as it continues to grow its presence around the world.”
Lord Davies adds: “I am delighted to be joining PineBridge with its rich heritage and excellent investment platform. I believe the firm, with its client-oriented culture, is well placed to realise its growth plans, and I am confident that together we will build a prosperous future. I look forward to working closely with the team as they continue to deliver value for their clients.”
Lord Davies joins PineBridge following his role as Minister of State for Trade, Investment and Small Business in UK, appointed jointly to the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Previously, he served as both chairman and group chief executive of Standard Chartered Bank, where he was a member of the board for over 12 years.
