Robyn Grew, the Chief Executive Officer of Man Group, has been elected to the SBAI Board of Trustees as a replacement for Luke Ellis, Man Group’s former CEO who retired earlier this month, and has served on the board since 2016.
The SBAI is an active alliance of over 150 alternative asset managers and over 100 institutional investors focused on advancing responsible practice, partnership and knowledge.
Before taking up the role of CEO at Man Group, Grew was previously President, based in the US. Since joining the group via GLG, in 2010, she has managed the solutions business, overseen trading and execution as well as acting as Group COO, Head of ESG and General Counsel.
Prior to Man, Grew held senior positions at investment banks Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers as well as at LIFFE (now ICE Futures Europe). Robyn is a qualified barrister and has worked in the investment industry since 1994.
