Agecroft Partners is again planning to donate 100 per cent of its profits from the Hedgeopolis New York 2015 hedge fund conference to non-profit organisations that benefit children.
In 2014 Agecroft, through its founding partner Don Steinbrugge (pictured), donated approximately USD100,000 in profits from Hedgeopolis 2014 both directly and to a charitable trust for non-profit organisations that benefit children. This year, Agecroft Partners plans to donate to over 15 different organisations with a majority of the donations going to organiations that help troubled youth.

Eurex Clearing is to launch its new Eurex Clearing Prisma Margin Estimator (Eurex Clearing PME), which has been developed in collaboration with OpenGamma, on 16 November 2015.

The LuxHedge Global UCITS Index fell by 0.85 per cent in September. This second consecutive monthly decline leads the index to a flat year-to-date performance (+0.20 per cent).

Global growth concerns increased in September, with the Fed holding a very dovish line, while several idiosyncratic market events, such as Volkswagen and Glencore, contributed to uncertainty and negative returns in markets.
The challenging month contributed to the third quarter being the worst quarter in performance terms for many risk asset markets since 2011. For the month, global equities as measured by the MSCI World index were down 3.6 per cent, while the US Dollar index and the Barclays US Aggregate Bond index were up 0.6 per cent and 0.7 per cent, respectively.

FCA-regulated Divisa UK Limited (Divisa Capital) has acquired Laboratory of Financial Technologies CJSC (FinLab), a financial services provider incorporated in the Republic of Armenia.
The firm, renamed Divisa AM CJSC (DAM), will relaunch in the final quarter of 2015 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Divisa Capital offering wholesale API and MT4 prime-of-prime solutions for institutional and professional clients.
The strategic acquisition enables Divisa to make maximum use of Armenia’s geopolitical position – the country is a gateway to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and can be used as hub for servicing nearby Middle Eastern nations.
