Natixis Asset Management has announced the launch of a new quant fund which will invest in global equities reported Citywire Global this week.
Helsinki-based Northern Star announced on its website this week the launch of two UCITS-compliant multi-asset funds.
Hassans, the Gibraltar based international law firm, is pleased to announce the completion of its 10th fund transaction, raising EUR1.45 billion since July 2011. These fund transactions cover sectors, such as Chinese securities, Online Gaming applications, African Resources, Private Equity/Real Estate along with World fixed income and the more traditional securities based funds.
The funds are able to draw on the benefits of being domiciled in Gibraltar, which include tax transparency, English common law, speed to market, ease of access to the Gibraltar-based financial service firms and the regulatory authorities with low costs.

Deutsche Bank and Financial Risk Management (FRM) have announced a partnership to launch the industry’s first hedge fund seeding managed account platform.
The dbalternatives Discovery platform, based on Deutsche Bank’s established and award winning dbalternatives managed account platform, extends the investor protection afforded by its managed account framework into the hedge fund seeding arena. Developed in 2002, the dbalternatives managed account platform addresses hedge fund investor concerns regarding fraud, transparency, liquidity and independent valuation.

CVC Capital Partners and Resource America Inc have signed an agreement to combine CVC Cordatus Group and Apidos Capital Management to form CVC Credit Partners.
Led by Marc Boughton, Managing Partner, CVC Credit Partners will comprise USD7.5bn of credit assets across 21 vehicles in the US and Europe. Gretchen Bergstresser and Jonathan Bowers will be Senior Portfolio Managers alongside Group COO, Chris Allen. Jonathan Cohen, CEO of Resource America, will be Chairman.
