DMS Management (Ireland) Limited (DMS) has been appointed as director to the Monsoon Asia-Pacific Systematic Fund (MAPS), a Dublin-based UCITS IV fund with daily liquidity.
MAPS is one of the first alternative strategy UCITS IV funds authorised in Ireland.
MAPS is a fully systematic managed futures strategy, focusing on the most liquid equity indices across the following Asia-Pacific markets: Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Korea, India, Japan, Australia and Singapore. The strategy dynamically adjusts net exposures based on price patterns, resulting in low correlated returns to major indices.

Liontrust Asset Management Plc has completed the acquisition of the fund management business of Occam Asset Management.
The acquisition fulfills Liontrust’s publicly stated objective of expanding into the fast growing Asia and Emerging Markets asset classes to complement its existing UK and Europe fund management capability.
Occam brings the management of four Dublin-based funds and two Cayman Islands-domiciled hedge funds to Liontrust, with the funds being rebranded and three of them being renamed.

Dematco, Inc a specialist in dematerialising and converting insurance instruments from paper form to electronic form, has announced a 50% revenue sharing agreement with Toronto-based hedge fund manager Quantus Investment Corp.
Investment instruments and derivative products will be created from dematerialised Senior Life Insurance Policies. Dematco and Quantus expect to bring Variable Stripped Units, Senior Life Settlement Units, bonds and distinctive instruments to market in acceptable dematerialised form for Institutional participation. A 50/50 sharing of fees arising from introductions by each party to the other has been entered into.
