MarketAxess, the operator of an electronic trading platform for fixed income securities, has appointed William Quan as the firm’s Chief Technology Officer.
Quan will lead the company’s technology organisation, which will focus on building scalable platforms and implementing AI and data capabilities across the firm.
Quan has over two decades of experience leading technology, AI and digital transformation across financial services. He most recently served as Technology Officer of Fleete Group, at Macquarie Asset Management, where he led the development of global engineering organisation. He previously held roles at Amazon Web Services, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank.
