Maven 11, an Amsterdam-founded blockchain and crypto asset investment firm, has appointed Derk Aalbers as director finance and operations.
Previously Aalbers worked in various positions for KPMG, including in international audit. He studied Financial Business Administration at the VU University Amsterdam and is registered as accountant with The Royal Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Maven 11 was founded in 2015 and has run a venture investment approach since 2017. Last December, Maven 11 announced the closing of its second fund, Venture Fund II, at $ 120 million. With the fresh funding Maven 11 is set to continue to back phenomenal projects from inception to launch.
