Multi-strategy hedge fund major Millennium Management has added Bobby Huffman, the former Head of European Trading at Apollo Global in London, to its team in Dallas, Texas, four months after he quit the UK to return to the American South, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Huffman spent over five years in London from 2019 to 2024 with Vivek Dasani, the former head of high yield trading at Barclays, taking on his role at Apollo following his departure from the business in March.
Neither Huffman nor Millennium have commented on his new role, but it is widely expected that Huffman will be setting up a pod as a portfolio manager possible focusing win high yield credit investments.
Huffman has joined a growing team at Millennium’s Dallas office, with the firm’s most recent ADV form indicates that a nine-person team is now working at its office at 100 Crescent Court on the edge of the city’s Central Business District.
