Hedge fund Millennium Management has continued the expansion of its technology team with the appointment of Leon Stiel, Citi’s global head of cross asset ETF technology, as head of equities risk technology based in New York, according to a report by eFinancialCareeers.
Stiel’s appointment is part of Millennium’s build out of its tech team under CTO Vlad Torgovnik in New York, London Singapore, Dublin, Hong Kong, and Tel Aviv, as well as a new technology hub in Miami.
The hedge fund is currently hiring quantitative researchers and machine learning specialists to work on its systematic equities team.
