French banking giant, Natixis, is getting ready to introduce a re-vamped version of Sixtina, the platform previously used for over 30 managed accounts. The remodeled version will serve as the bank’s UCITS III platform as it manoeuvres into the newcits universe to cater for the ever-increasing growth and popularity in Ucits-compliant funds amongst European investors. The platform will launch its first fund this month, with seven more earmarked by year-end. Hedgeweek understands that it hopes to raise EUR 350-500 million in its first year of operation. All new funds will be hosted within the bank’s Lux-domiciled SICAV. Portfolio strategies including CTAs, long/short and event-driven will be featured on Sixtina.
