ABBYY, a specialist in Content IQ technologies and solutions, has launched ABBYY Vantage, an enterprise platform aimed at providing human-like cognitive skills to intelligent automation platforms such as robotic process automation (RPA) and business process automation (BPA).
The new platform can be leveraged by enterprise companies in financial services and insurance, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, and other industries. Several high-profile enterprise customers and consulting partners are participating in the early adopter program, including MSD, UK-based Symphony Ventures, RoboRana, and RPAbox.

Ned Davis Research (NDR) has appointed Josh Monroe as its Global Head of Sales. Monroe will oversee a sales team spanning across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, which serve both the institutional and wealth management markets.
Most recently, Monroe served as Senior Vice President, Head of Sales, Trading and Risk Solutions for North America at Fidelity National Information Services (FIS). Prior to FIS, he served as Vice President within the Global Macro business at SAC Capital. His capital markets experience also includes roles at Morgan Stanley and Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company.

Derivatives marketplace CME Group reached average daily volume (ADV) of 19.1 million contracts during March 2019, compared to 20.8 million contracts in March 2018.
In addition, total daily exchange trading volume surpassed 20 million contracts on each of the final six trading days in March.
Open interest (OI) at the end of March 2019 was 126 million contracts, up 9 per cent from year-end 2018 and unchanged from March 2018. First-quarter 2019 ADV marked the third-highest quarterly ADV ever with 18.6 million contracts, down from a record 22.2 million contracts in the first quarter of 2018.

Integral, a forex technology specialist, has reported that average daily volumes (ADV) across its platforms totalled USD39.0 billion in March 2019, an increase of 17 per cent compared to the previous month and 8.8 per cent more than March 2018.

The experienced former UBS small cap team of Stephen Wood, Victor Gomes and David Haddad have joined Australian multi-boutique fund management business Fidante Partners to set up a new Australian small capitalisation companies boutique called Eiger Capital.
The team will manage the Eiger Australian Small Companies Fund (the Fund) which will provide retail and institutional investors access to a portfolio of small cap stocks.
