Metamako, a provider of intelligent, FPGA-enabled network platforms, is providing its technology to Deutsche Börse Group to increase the accuracy, speed and precision of data capture, network monitoring and timestamping of its co-location network. The Lyxor Hedge Fund Index was up 2 per cent last week amid a strong economic pulse worldwide, according to the latest Weekly Brief from Lyxor’s Cross Asset Research Team. Global Macro managers outperformed thanks to their portfolios’ allocations to equities and FX. Offering a unique combination of hedge fund like returns in a liquid and regulated form, Alternative UCITS funds continued to increase their popularity with investors in 2017. Total Assets under Management for the industry grew 16 per cent EUR450 billion. Saxo Bank, an online multi-asset trading and investment specialist, has appointed Damian Bunce (pictured), as Chief Client Officer (CCO), effective 19 February 2018. Bunce joins Saxo’s executive team and will report directly to Kim Fournais, CEO and Founder. The Lyxor Hedge Fund Index was up slightly (+0.3 per cent) in December, with four out of eight Lyxor indices recording positive results. CTAs finished on strong gains due to high diversification within portfolios.
