Gazprombank Asset Management has appointed Igor Kan to the position of vice-president and head of structured products portfolio management and trading.
Aylin Suntay, first vice-president of Gazprombank and CEO of Gazprombank Asset Management, says: “We are very glad to welcome Igor to our investment management team where we believe he will play a key role to further develop our product strategy and line-up. State Street Corporation announced this week that it was expanding its relationship with EARNEST Partners to provide a full suite of servicing solutions for the firm’s new UCITS funds.
EARNEST Partners, which currently advises on more than USD20bn in assets for clients around the world, will now offer global access to its equity strategies through its Irish domiciled UCITS funds, including global emerging markets, frontier markets and global ex-US equities.
State Street currently provides support for EARNEST Partners’ onshore funds. As part of the expansion of its current servicing relationship, State Street will now also provide asset management services
Hedge fund redemptions for June will total 4.80 per cent, according to the SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator.
"In line with semi-annual patterns, forward redemptions increased for the month of June, with the majority of activity falling in the under one month category," says Bill Stone, chairman and chief executive officer, SS&C Technologies.

Conor McCarthy has joined brokerage and trading services provider ConvergEx Group as chief financial officer.

Intercontinental Exchange has set the initial public offering (IPO) price of the ordinary shares of Euronext at EUR20.00 per share valuing the pan-European exchange group at EUR1.4 billion.
Euronext’s ordinary shares will be listed and admitted to trading under the symbol ENX on Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext Brussels as of 20 June 2014 (on an “as-if-and-when-delivered” basis). Euronext also intends to list on Euronext Lisbon by the fourth quarter of 2014.

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has obtained a federal court order requiring Robert J Andres and his company Winsome Investment Trust and Robert L Holloway and his company US Ventures (USV) to pay a civil monetary penalty of USD32,370,000 and restitution for defrauded customers totalling USD12 million.
The court’s order also imposes permanent trading and registration bans against Andres, Winsome, Holloway, and USV and prohibits them from violating provisions of the Commodity Exchange Act, as charged.

Perrotta, the former CEO of fixed income consultancy Cornerstone Resources, will be responsible for directing TABB’s research alliance fixed income practice, which serves rates and credit market institutional investors, focusing on market structure, regulatory reform, trading, operational and technology issues impacting corporate bonds, Treasuries, swaps and other credit and rate derivatives in the US, Europe and Asia.
