Arden Asset Management is to assume the management of Robeco Group’s USD1.3 billion fund of hedge funds business, Robeco-Sage, effective 1 October, 2011. Cube Capital has expanded its research team with the appointment of Rui Tang as an investment analyst for the firm’s flagship Global Multi-Strategy (CGMS) Fund. Although based in Cube’s Hong Kong office, Tang will be a generalist assisting with research efforts across all strategies and geographies. Intertrust Group Holding SA (Intertrust) has completed the acquisition of Close Brothers (Cayman) Limited and Close Bank (Cayman) Limited, after having received all regulatory and other necessary approvals. Intertrust and Close Brothers Group Plc already signed the sale and purchase agreement on 18 March 2011. All the activities of Close Brothers (Cayman) Limited and Close Bank (Cayman) Limited (together ‘Close Brothers Cayman’) will be fully rebranded into Intertrust as of 1 August 2011.

Order book turnover on Xetra and on the trading floor of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange stood at EUR136.5 billion in May – a decrease by 16 per cent year-on-year (May 2010: EUR163,5 billion).   Of the EUR136.5 billion, EUR130.8 billion was attributable to Xetra which registered a decline of 16 per cent y-o-y (May 2010: EUR155.5 billion).
