Carmignac has strengthened its alternative investment team with the appointment of Karna Sethia as a quantitative analyst. Sethia joins Carmignac from ExodusPoint where he was a data scientist responsible for designing, engineering and building quantitative analysis tools.  Prior to ExodusPoint, Sethia worked at Morgan Stanley in London as a data engineer, leading specialist products for the firm’s alternative-data research team. Cboe Global Markets, a provider of global market infrastructure and tradable products, has expanded its S&P 500 Index (SPX) options suite with additional expirations for SPX Weeklys Tuesday and Thursday options, beginning 19 September and 28 September, respectively. Total volume in SPX Tuesday and Thursday options have surpassed 44 million contracts since their launch in second-quarter 2022, reflecting strong customer interest and trading activity. The additional expirations for SPX Tuesday and Thursday options will align with the number of expirations currently available for SPX Monday and Wednesday options, and meet growing customer demand for Cboe’s SPX offerings.    In addition,
Digital asset investment products saw inflows totalling $7 million last week, another low activity week, according to the lates Digital Assets Funs Flows Weekly report from CoinShares. The mixture of positive and negative flows by provider and asset suggests continued lack of engagement amongst investors at present. Post Ethereum Merge flows indicate continued caution amongst investors with a fourth week of outflows totalling $15 million. Bitcoin saw inflows totalling $17 million, the first inflows following a five-week run of outflows that totalled $93 million.
