Turnover in investment and leverage products on reporting European financial markets was up 14% quarter on quarter and 4% year on year in the first quarter of 2022, bringing the total to EUR45 billion, according to data sourced by the European Structured Investment Products Association (EUSIPA) from its members and analysed by Avaloq Evolution AG.

Paulson replaces Jospeh Papa who resigned earlier this week. His decision to leave is reported to have no connection to “any dispute or disagreement”

Ken Griffin is relocating his $51 billion hedge fund Citadel from Chicago to Miami having voice concerns over rising crime rates in the Windy City, according to a report by The Financial Times.
The FT cites an email sent to employees by the firm’s billionaire founder which describes Miami as a “growing metropolis that embodies the American dream”. Griffin recently moved there with his family and now his hedge fund and market-making firm Citadel Securities are to follow suit in what will be a multi-year transition.
