Odey filing hints at possible comeback

Related Topics

Crispin Odey, the UK hedge fund manager forced to stand down from his eponymous firm last year following multiple allegations of sexual misconduct – which he denies – could be contemplating a comeback, according to a report by Bloomberg.

The report cites a recent company accounts filing made by Odey Asset Management Group, of which Odey is now the only director, as stating that the company “is currently exploring business opportunities”.

According to UK registry filings, Odey Asset Management Group previously oversaw Odey’s stakes in Odey Asset Management and Odey Wealth Management (UK). The former said in a December website update that it is no longer responsible for managing any clients while the majority of Odey Wealth Management clients have either left or are in the process of leaving.
