Global law firm Proskauer announced that
Niamh A Curry has joined the law firm Proskauer’s Private Investment Funds Group as a partner in New York. Curry’s arrival follows the recent appointment of Bruno Bertrand-Delfau in London.
Curry’s practice focuses on the structuring and formation of international and domestic private investment funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds, hybrid funds and fund of funds, as well as the purchase of portfolios of stakes in private investment funds and unlisted companies. She has collaborated with Bertrand-Delfau for a number of years advising Ardian (formerly AXA Private Equity) and on other cross-border

Cosgrave brings twenty-five years of experience in international capital markets. Most recently, he was Head of EMEA alternatives business development at SSC GlobeOp. Previously, he held leadership and sales positions at International Financial Systems and Integral Development Corporation, both providers of sophisticated software to financial intermediaries and asset managers.

CBOE Holdings has promoted Andy Lowenthal (pictured) from Vice President to Senior Vice President, Business Development. Lowenthal’s promotion comes as part of a reorganisation designed to better leverage the company’s business development efforts across its expanding line of futures and options products and services.
Lowenthal’s responsibilities have been expanded to include the business development functions of the CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE), home of futures on the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX Index) and an array of related products. HSBC Securities Services (HSS), part of HSBC’s Global Banking and Markets business, has been appointed by RWC Partners Limited to provide administration and global transfer agency services to five new alternative funds.
These funds, which will be managed by RWC's Emerging and Frontier Markets Equity Team, are expected to attract an anticipated USD1.3 billion assets under management during launch.
Founded in 2000, RWC is an independent investment manager with approximately USD11 billion in assets under management.
The new funds will be serviced by HSBC Securities Services Ireland, which has had a client relationship with RWC since 2002.

Preqin has appointed Edmond Ho as Chief Revenue Officer. Ho also joins Preqin's Management Team and will commence his role on 27 July 2015.
Ho brings with him a wealth of experience in information, data and analytics sales across EMEA, Asia and the Americas.
