Point72 Asset Management has added North Rock partner and money manager Clarence Tee as the firm continues to build out its portfolio manager ranks, according to a report by Financial News London. Its LinkedIn postings show active searches for portfolio managers in London, Singapore and New York.
The multi-strategy firm, founded by Steve Cohen, manages more than $41bn and employs over 3,000 staff globally. Tee previously spent more than three years at Citadel, joining the firm in 2020 as a senior associate before becoming an analyst the following year. His earlier experience includes three years at Morgan Stanley.
Point72 has been steadily strengthening its portfolio manager line-up this year. The firm hired former Millennium money manager Prejesh Patel in London over the summer, followed by the addition of ex-Bank of America managing director Bobby Previti earlier this month.
